Terms of use
What this site is, what it is not, and what you take on by using it.
1. Scope
These terms cover use of this site and everything reachable from it. Using the site means accepting them. If any part of them is unacceptable to you, the right response is to stop using the site rather than to use it under protest.
2. The site is an index
This site catalogues software and points to files. It does not sell anything, does not take payment, and does not operate as a distributor on behalf of any publisher. Nothing here is offered with a warranty and no fitness for any particular purpose is claimed.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you download and what you do with it. Licensing obligations in your country, your workplace or your contract are yours to satisfy. Check the licensing position for anything you intend to use in a commercial setting before you use it, not afterwards.
4. No accounts, no data to lose
There is no registration on this site and no account to hold. The only information ever submitted is what you type into a form and send deliberately. See the privacy page for what happens to it.
5. Availability
The site and its mirrors are provided as they are. They may be slow, they may be briefly unreachable, and a mirror may be replaced without notice. No uptime is promised and no compensation of any kind is offered for a download that did not complete.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that costs other people their bandwidth.
- Do not attempt to access parts of the infrastructure that are not published.
- Do not submit forms in bulk or automatically.
- Do not present material from this site as your own product or service.
7. Links away from here
Mirrors and other outbound links go to systems that are not under our control. What happens on them is governed by whatever terms they publish, not by these.
8. Removal requests
Rights holders should use the notice form. Complete notices are actioned quickly. Nothing in these terms limits that process or requires anyone to go through it more than once.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from use of this site or anything obtained through it, including lost data, lost time and lost work.
10. Changes
These terms are revised when the site changes in a way that makes them inaccurate. The version published here is the one that applies. There is no notification mechanism, because there are no accounts to notify.
