Library/Requests
Requests
Ask for a title
If it is not in the library, file it here. Requests are read by a person and duplicates move a title up the queue.
How the queue works
Requests are read, not automated. Each one goes into a list, and duplicates push a title upward rather than cluttering it, so the things many people ask for arrive first. A title that only one person wants still gets looked at, it just waits longer.
Some requests cannot be filled. Software that phones home on every launch and refuses to work without it, hardware-locked releases, and titles that only exist as a subscription client with nothing on the disk are all cases where there is nothing worth listing. When that is the answer, it is the answer, and the request is closed rather than left hanging.
Older versions are worth asking for. A lot of them are held even when only the current release is listed, particularly for suites where a newer version dropped a feature that people still depend on.
