Overview

Office 2021 Professional Plus is the perpetual release after 2019, and for most people the reason to take it is Excel. Dynamic arrays changed how formulas spill across a sheet, XLOOKUP replaced two decades of nested lookup workarounds, and LET makes long expressions readable. None of that arrived in the 2019 line.

The rest of the suite moved forward at a steadier pace. Word gained better co-editing behaviour and a cleaner reviewing pane, PowerPoint added recording tools and improved ink handling, Outlook tightened search and profile handling, and the whole suite finally got a proper dark interface that carries through to the document canvas.

As with the previous perpetual release, this image includes both architectures and the full Professional Plus application set, with Access and Publisher present. Deployment configuration files are bundled for anyone who has to put this on more than one machine without clicking through setup each time.

What it does well

Excel dynamic arrays

Formulas spill into neighbouring cells, and XLOOKUP, FILTER, SORT, UNIQUE, SEQUENCE and LET are all available without a workaround.

Full application set

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and OneNote, the complete Professional Plus configuration.

Dark mode throughout

The dark theme now covers the document surface, not only the ribbon, which makes long sessions easier on a bright panel.

Both architectures

32-bit and 64-bit in one image so legacy add-ins are still an option.

Silent deployment

Configuration XML samples for unattended installs and for excluding applications from the set.

Changes in this build

  • Servicing rollup applied so the installed build is current on first launch.
  • Deployment samples updated with per-application exclusion examples.
  • Fixed setup failures caused by leftover click to run components from another suite.
  • Language packs integrated into the image rather than downloaded after setup.
  • Torrent payload rebuilt for faster verification.

  2. Extract or mount the image on a local drive.
  3. Choose the architecture that matches your add-ins.
  4. Run setup and wait for it to finish before opening anything.
  5. Launch Excel once and confirm the activation state.

Before you start

Do not install this over 2019 expecting both to survive, remove the older suite first.

Automatic updates can replace components, turn them off to keep the build fixed.

The deployment samples assume a local source path, edit them before use.

Yes, both architectures install and run normally.

Direct link or torrent?

Both are provided and resolve to the same image.

About this listing

This entry was checked on a clean install of Windows 10 / 11 (32-bit and 64-bit) before it was published, and it is rechecked whenever the package is rebuilt. The figures on this page come from the site index rather than from the publisher, so the download count is what people here have actually pulled.

If a mirror stops answering, use the contact form and it gets replaced. Reports about a specific title are handled faster than general messages because they name the file, the mirror and the point at which the transfer stopped.

Requests for a different version, a different language build or an older release go on the requests page. Older versions of a title are usually still held even when only the current one is listed.
