This is the combined image, and the reason to take it over a single release package is choice at setup time. Pick the 2021 or the 2024 perpetual release, pick the architecture, pick which applications get installed, and run it once. For anyone maintaining several machines with different requirements, one download covers all of them.
The 2024 release is the newer of the two. Excel adds more dynamic array functions, better regular expression handling in formulas and improved performance on large workbooks. Word improves the reviewing and accessibility tooling. PowerPoint gained recording and camera framing features. Outlook tightened search and rendering. The 2021 line is here for anyone who has an add-in or a template set that is validated against it.
Both are perpetual, both are the Professional Plus application set with Access and Publisher included, and both install with the same deployment configuration approach. The included samples cover silent installation and per-application exclusion, which is what you want when this is going onto more than one or two machines.

Installation
- Remove any existing Office installation completely.
- Extract the image to a local drive.
- Run the selector and choose the release, architecture and applications.
- Let setup finish without opening anything mid-install.
- Open Excel once and confirm the activation state.
Before you start
You cannot run both lines on one machine, the selector picks one.
Leftover click to run components are the usual cause of a failed setup.
Edit the deployment samples before use, they assume a local source path.
