Overview

This is one of the oldest names in the category and it has survived by staying narrow. It takes links, it saves what is behind them, and it converts the result into whatever container is needed afterwards. There is no library, no media player and no attempt at being a general download manager, which is precisely why people keep coming back to it.

Input is flexible. Paste a single link, drop in a list of them, feed it a text file of URLs, or point it at a playlist and let it enumerate. Each item can carry its own quality and format choice or inherit a default, and the queue processes them in order with a configurable number of parallel transfers.

Output covers the practical formats: the original stream muxed as it came, a re-encoded file in a common container, or an audio extraction at a chosen bitrate. Tags are written into the audio files from the source metadata, which is a small thing that saves a lot of manual editing when a batch of tracks lands in a music folder.

The premium configuration lifts the restrictions that make the free tier tedious: the speed throttle, the cap on batch size, the daily item limit and the advertising panel in the interface. What remains is the same application without the friction, and with the higher quality output options enabled.

What it does well

Flexible input

Single links, pasted lists, text files of URLs or a whole playlist, all feeding the same queue.

Format choice per item

Save the original stream, re-encode into a common container, or extract audio at a chosen bitrate, set per item or as a default.

Metadata tagging

Source title, artist and thumbnail data written into the audio tags automatically as each file completes.

Parallel queue

A configurable number of simultaneous transfers with a global bandwidth cap and an action on completion.

Premium tier enabled

No speed throttle, no batch cap, no daily limit and no advertising panel in this configuration.

Before you start

The original installer from the vendor bundles extra offers. This package has them removed, but read the setup screens anyway.

Re-encoding is CPU bound. Saving the original stream is far faster when the container does not matter.

Extractors are pinned to this build, so a site change will eventually break some links.

Questions about this title

Is the speed throttled?

No, the free tier throttle is not present in this configuration.

Can it do a whole playlist?

Yes, point it at the playlist and it enumerates the items into the queue.

Does it tag audio files?

Yes, title, artist and cover data are written from the source metadata.

Are there advertising panels?

No, the interface panel is removed here.

About this listing

This entry was checked on a clean install of Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 before it was published, and it is rechecked whenever the package is rebuilt. The figures on this page come from the site index rather than from the publisher, so the download count is what people here have actually pulled.

If a mirror stops answering, use the contact form and it gets replaced. Reports about a specific title are handled faster than general messages because they name the file, the mirror and the point at which the transfer stopped.

Requests for a different version, a different language build or an older release go on the requests page. Older versions of a title are usually still held even when only the current one is listed.
