Overview
Audition is the audio side of a post production room: a destructive waveform editor for repairing and shaping a single file, a non-destructive multitrack session for building a mix, and a spectral display that turns noise problems into something you can see and paint out. This is the full offline installer with the effect rack and the sound library intact.
The restoration tools are what most people install it for. The spectral frequency display shows a recording as time against frequency, so a chair squeak, a door slam or a mains hum appears as a shape you can select and heal. Around that sit the dedicated processors: noise reduction with a captured print, de-hum, de-click, de-reverb and adaptive noise reduction that tracks a changing floor.
The multitrack side handles dialogue, music and effects with clip gain, automation lanes, bussing, sends and a mixer that behaves like hardware. Loudness metering matches broadcast delivery standards, and the batch processor runs a chain across a folder of files, which is how podcast and audiobook work actually gets finished on a deadline.

Installation
- Extract the archive to a local drive.
- Close any other application holding the audio device.
- Run setup and choose the interface language.
