Overview

Filmora sits between a phone editor and a professional timeline. It has real tracks, keyframes, masks and motion tracking, but the interface never asks you to understand a node graph or a colour management pipeline to finish a video. For tutorials, product clips, family edits and channel content it gets the job done quickly.

The bundled library is a large part of the value. Transitions, titles, overlays, filters, stock audio and sound effects are installed rather than streamed, so the effect browser works with the network off. This build includes the full library and removes the export watermark.

The assist tools have improved to the point of being useful rather than novelty. Speech to text produces workable subtitles, silence detection strips dead air from a talking head take, motion tracking pins a graphic to a moving subject, and audio ducking drops the music under narration automatically.

What it does well

Full effect library offline

Transitions, titles, overlays, filters and stock audio installed locally so the browser works without a connection.

Motion tracking

Pin text, images or masks to a moving subject with a tracker that survives partial occlusion.

Speech tools

Speech to text subtitles, text to speech narration and silence detection that trims dead air across a whole clip.

Keyframing and masks

Per-property keyframes with easing curves, plus shape and drawn masks with feathering for simple compositing.

Clean export

No watermark on output, with delivery presets for common platforms and formats up to 4K.

Changes in this build

  • Project files open faster on timelines with many small clips.

About this listing

This entry was checked on a clean install of Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) before it was published, and it is rechecked whenever the package is rebuilt. The figures on this page come from the site index rather than from the publisher, so the download count is what people here have actually pulled.

If a mirror stops answering, use the contact form and it gets replaced. Reports about a specific title are handled faster than general messages because they name the file, the mirror and the point at which the transfer stopped.

Requests for a different version, a different language build or an older release go on the requests page. Older versions of a title are usually still held even when only the current one is listed.
