Overview
GEOlayers turns the compositing application into a map production tool. Instead of screenshotting a web map and animating a flat image, it pulls real map tiles and vector data into the composition, keeps them tied to actual coordinates, and lets a camera move be animated between locations with the map staying correct at every zoom level in between.
The data side is what makes it useful for factual and news work. Country, region and city boundaries come in as real shape layers that can be styled, split and animated individually. Roads, rivers, coastlines, labels and terrain arrive as separate elements, so a broadcast style map can be assembled with the type in the right typeface and the fills in the right brand colours rather than accepting a canned tile design.
Animation is handled with the tools already in the application. Position and zoom are keyframed on a camera that speaks in coordinates, paths between points are generated as animatable strokes for the classic travelling line, and markers stay pinned to their location through any move. Because everything lands as native layers, effects, expressions and the existing render pipeline all apply without any special handling.

Installation
- Close the compositing application completely.
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
