This package handles the common operations without destroying what is already there: resizing a volume that is out of space, moving a partition to close a gap, merging two volumes, splitting one, and allocating free space from one partition directly to another.

Cloning a system disk to a new SSD, with alignment corrected and the boot configuration rebuilt so the machine actually starts from the new drive, is a job that goes wrong often enough with generic imaging tools. Installation
- Back up anything you cannot lose before touching a partition table.
- Extract the archive and run the installer as an administrator.
- Build the rescue USB before making changes, not after something breaks.
- Queue the operations, review the disk map, then apply them as one batch.
- Let any operation that requires a restart complete before using the machine.
Before you start
Never interrupt a partition operation mid-restart, that is the one way to lose the table.
