Format Factory is the utility people keep on a machine for the moment something arrives in the wrong container. Drop a folder of mixed video, audio or image files onto it, pick a target, and it converts the lot in one queued run without asking about codecs, bitrates or container quirks unless you want to open that panel yourself.
The format coverage is deliberately wide rather than deep. Video into the common delivery containers and codecs, audio into the usual lossy and lossless formats, images with resize, rotate and colour depth options, and rips from optical media and disc images into ordinary files. Installation
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
