Overview
MyDockFinder replaces the taskbar experience with a dock along the bottom edge and a status bar across the top. The dock magnifies under the cursor, holds pinned and running applications separately, shows window previews on hover, and supports stacks that fan a folder out into a grid without opening a window.
The status bar carries the clock, battery, network, volume and a set of small monitors for processor, memory and network throughput. Each item is configurable, and a control panel drops down with sliders for volume and brightness, media transport controls and quick toggles. There is also a spotlight style launcher on a hotkey that searches applications, files and settings from a single field.
Underneath, it hooks the window manager to add behaviours the standard shell does not have: snapping zones beyond the built in halves and quarters, an exposé view that tiles every open window on a gesture, virtual desktop switching with a swipe, and per-application window rules. Blur and transparency effects apply to the dock, the bar and optionally to window title bars, with a theme system for colours, icon sizes and animation speed.

Installation
- Close any other dock or shell replacement first.
- Extract the archive and run the installer to the default location.
- Allow the window management hook to register when prompted.
- Set the dock position, size and auto hide behaviour on first launch.
- Decide whether to hide the standard taskbar, the toggle is in the dock settings.
Before you start
Running this alongside another dock causes flickering, use one at a time.
Blur effects cost battery on a laptop, turn them down for longer runtime.
Some full screen games need the dock set to auto hide to avoid focus problems.
