Overview
Revit is a database that happens to draw. Walls, floors, roofs, structural framing, ducts, pipes and equipment are objects with properties, and every plan, section, elevation, schedule and sheet is a view onto the same model. Change a window type once and it changes in the plan, the elevation, the schedule and the door and window book at the same time.
This package includes the architecture, structure and MEP disciplines together, along with the family libraries each of them needs. Family editing is where the real work happens on any serious project, and the editor is fully available for building parametric components with constrained geometry, type catalogues and formula driven parameters.
Coordination is what makes it worth the size. Worksharing lets a team work in one central model with local copies, interference checking finds where a duct runs through a beam before anyone is on site, linked models bring in consultant work, and IFC import and export handle exchange with teams on other platforms.

Installation
- Extract the archive to a drive with 60 GB free.
- Install the content libraries for the region you work in, they are optional but large.
- Run setup and let it finish without opening any Autodesk application.
- Apply the configuration step before first launch.
- Open the application and set the default template and units.
Before you start
Model files upgraded by this release cannot be opened by an earlier Revit.
Content libraries are most of the install size, skip regions you never work in.
Disable the Autodesk desktop service so components stay at the installed version.
