Overview
Enscape is a plug-in, not a separate application, and that is the entire design. It installs into Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, ArchiCAD or Vectorworks and opens a live rendered window next to the model. Move a wall and the render updates. There is no export, no scene setup, no second file to keep synchronised.
For design review that immediacy changes the meeting. A client asks what it looks like with a lower ceiling and the answer appears while they are still asking. Time of day, sky, vegetation, materials and entourage all adjust live, and the asset library provides furniture, people, plants and vehicles that place directly into the host model.
Output covers what a practice actually delivers: stills at print resolution, video from a keyframed camera path, 360 panoramas that upload for client review on a phone, and a standalone executable that packages the whole walkthrough so someone without any modelling software can explore it. Virtual reality output is supported for the common headsets.

Installation
- Install the host modelling application first, the connectors need it present.
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
- Run setup and tick the host applications you use.
- Apply the configuration step before opening the host application.
- Open a model and start the render window from the new toolbar.
Before you start
Connectors only install for host applications that are already present, install those first.
A GPU without ray tracing support works but with reduced lighting quality.
Asset placement lives in the host model, so a colleague without Enscape sees proxy geometry.
