Overview
Dimension exists for designers who need a photographic product shot and do not want to learn a full 3D application to get one. A model is placed in a scene, a material is dragged onto it, a lighting environment sets the mood, and the renderer produces a result that reads as a photograph rather than a render, all through an interface built around dragging rather than parameter panels.
Packaging is the most common use. A flat label or wrap designed in a vector or raster application is applied to a bottle, box, tube, can or pouch as a live graphic, and it stays linked, so editing the artwork updates the visual without rebuilding the scene. Multiple size variants of the same pack can be produced from one setup in an afternoon.
The output side is more flexible than a flat image. Renders come out with the model, the shadows, the reflections and the background on separate layers, so a compositor can adjust each one afterwards without re-rendering. There is also an interactive publishing path that produces a scene a viewer can rotate, which is useful for presenting a concept before anything is manufactured.

Installation
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
- Close any other application from the same family before setup.

Linked artwork keeps its path, moving the source file breaks the graphic on the model.
