Overview
Revit LT is the architectural configuration of the building modelling application, aimed at practices doing architecture and interiors without needing the structural and building services disciplines in the same seat. Walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, stairs, railings, doors, windows, curtain systems and rooms are all modelled objects with real properties rather than lines on a sheet.
The value is that every drawing comes from the model. A plan, a section, an elevation, a detail callout, a 3D view and a door schedule are all views of the same building, so moving a wall updates all of them at once and the set stays coordinated automatically. That removes the entire category of errors where a change made it onto one sheet and not the other three.
Documentation is a full sheet environment. Title blocks, view placement, annotation, dimensioning, tags that read properties from the objects they point at, keynotes, legends, and schedules that count and total whatever the model contains and update themselves when it changes. Output goes to print ready sheet sets or exported drawing files for consultants working in a drafting application.

Installation
- Extract the archive to a local drive with 60 GB free.
- Remove any partial install from the same product family first.
- Run setup and select the language and the content libraries.
- Apply the included configuration step before the first launch.
- Open a sample project once so the content library indexes.
Before you start
Block the desktop component installer, it replaces files after setup.
Models saved in this release cannot be opened in an earlier one, export if a consultant is behind.
Keep working models on a local disk, network stored models are noticeably slower to open and save.
