Overview
Blender covers the entire 3D pipeline in a single application, which is why it turns up on so many machines next to the expensive packages rather than instead of them. Box modelling, sculpting with dynamic topology, UV unwrapping, retopology, rigging with inverse kinematics, keyframe and non-linear animation, physics simulation, two production renderers, a compositor and a video sequencer are all built in.
Cycles is the path tracer, with GPU rendering through the current vendor backends, adaptive sampling, light path control and a denoiser that makes low sample counts usable. Eevee is the real time engine, now with proper ray traced reflections and shadows, and it renders a shot in seconds rather than hours when the look does not need full path tracing. Both read the same shader graph, so switching between them does not mean rebuilding materials.
The build posted here is the full application with a curated add-on bundle already enabled: node wrangler, loop tools, the import and export set for the common exchange formats, and the asset browser preloaded with a starter library of materials and geometry node groups. Nothing is stripped and nothing is locked, this package exists mainly to save the setup pass.
What it does well
Modelling and sculpting
Full polygon toolset with modifiers, plus a sculpt mode with dynamic topology, multiresolution, remeshing and a brush set that handles high density meshes.
Cycles and Eevee
A production path tracer with GPU acceleration and denoising alongside a real time engine with ray traced reflections, sharing one material graph.
Geometry nodes
Procedural modelling through a node graph, covering scattering, instancing, curve generation and simulation zones that run over frames.
Animation and rigging
Bone rigs with constraints and inverse kinematics, shape keys, the graph editor, non-linear action mixing and a motion tracking module for matchmove work.
Simulation and effects
Fluids, smoke, fire, cloth, soft body, rigid body and particle systems, all bakeable to disk and renderable in either engine.
Changes in this build
- Eevee ray tracing extended to refractive materials with fewer artefacts on glass.
- Geometry nodes gained a rewritten simulation zone with faster caching to disk.
- Sculpt mode performance improved substantially on meshes above ten million faces.
- Video sequencer received a proper colour management path and better proxy handling.
- Asset browser now indexes external libraries in the background rather than on open.

- Blender full installer, 64-bit
- Curated add-on bundle, pre-enabled

Installation
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
- Run the installer, or use the portable folder if you prefer no install at all.
- Launch once and pick the keymap and theme at the splash prompt.
- Open preferences and confirm the GPU backend is selected for rendering.
- Point the asset library path at the included starter folder.
Before you start
Settings from an older release are picked up on first launch, decline that if you want a clean configuration.
GPU rendering needs a current vendor driver, an old driver shows up as a black render rather than an error.
Simulation caches go to a temporary folder by default, move it off the system drive for long bakes.
Questions about this title
Is this the full application?
Yes, nothing is removed. The bundle only adds add-ons that are already part of the release and enables them.
Does it run portable?
Yes, the portable folder runs without installing and keeps its configuration alongside it.
Which renderer should I use?
Eevee for speed and previews, Cycles when the shot needs accurate light. Materials work in both.
Can it open files from an older release?
Yes, older files open and are upgraded on save, which older versions will not read back.
About this listing
This entry was checked on a clean install of Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) before it was published, and it is rechecked whenever the package is rebuilt. The figures on this page come from the site index rather than from the publisher, so the download count is what people here have actually pulled.
If a mirror stops answering, use the contact form and it gets replaced. Reports about a specific title are handled faster than general messages because they name the file, the mirror and the point at which the transfer stopped.
Requests for a different version, a different language build or an older release go on the requests page. Older versions of a title are usually still held even when only the current one is listed.
