Aspire covers both halves of a routing job. The drawing side is a two dimensional vector editor with the tools a sign, furniture or cabinet maker actually needs: text on curves, node editing, offsetting, welding, fillets, arrays and a tracing tool that turns a scanned drawing or a photograph into clean vectors. The modelling side then lifts those vectors into three dimensional relief.
That relief modelling is what separates it from a plain routing package. Components are built from vector outlines using dome, ramp, round and flat profiles, then combined by adding, merging, subtracting or using one as a limit for another. Two rail sweeps, spun and turned shapes, texture generation and sculpting brushes fill in the rest, and an image can be converted into height data for a photographic carve. The result is a layered component tree that stays editable rather than a frozen mesh.
Toolpaths cover profiling with tabs and lead moves, pocketing, drilling, v-carving and inlays, prism carving, fluting, and both roughing and finishing passes for three dimensional work. Rotary axis machining wraps a flat design onto a cylinder for columns and table legs. Nesting packs parts onto sheet goods to reduce waste, the simulation shows the finished surface against the real material before anything is cut, and the post processor library targets the common hobby and professional controls.
