Overview
Kutools adds a few hundred operations to the spreadsheet application as extra ribbon tabs, and every one of them exists because the built in way of doing that job takes five steps, a helper column and a formula nobody wants to write again. Merging fifty sheets into one, splitting a column by a delimiter into rows, comparing two ranges for differences, removing every blank row in a selection, converting text stored numbers back into numbers.
The workbook and sheet tools handle structure. Combine workbooks from a folder into one file, split a sheet into separate files by a key column, rename or reorder dozens of sheets at once, create a navigable index of every sheet, sync selections across sheets, and copy a range's formatting, formulas and validation to many sheets in one action.
The range and cell tools cover the everyday cleanup. Advanced find and replace across every open workbook, deduplication with a choice of which copy survives, case and formatting conversion in bulk, unit and currency conversion, cell content transposition, superscript and subscript handling, and a formula helper library with several hundred prewritten expressions for date, text and lookup work that would otherwise be assembled from memory each time.

Installation
- Close the spreadsheet application completely.
- Extract the archive to a local folder.
- Run setup and choose the architecture matching the installed suite.
- Apply the included configuration step before the first launch.
- Open the application and confirm the extra ribbon tabs appear.
Before you start
The architecture must match the installed suite, a 32-bit add-in will not load into a 64-bit application.
Most operations cannot be undone with the normal undo, work on a copy the first few times.
If the tabs vanish after a suite update, re-enable the add-in in the application options.
